Born in Bolzano in 1948, Roberto Danesi studied art and architecture at the IUAV University of Venice. Since his apprenticeship, the design of office systems has been central to his research; he began his freelance career in 1980, as a product designer, art director, graphic designer, consultant for Italian and foreign companies in the office sector. He has also worked in other sectors such as furniture, contracts, packaging, graphic design, fabric design and, in recent years, the studio's activity has expanded into the field of interior decoration and architectural design.
