Beautiful two-piece asparagus dish, with the drainer located at the bottom of the bowl, described as "deep with grid."

This earthenware dish dates from around 1896. It can be found in the 1896 catalog, where the Nimy earthenware factory presented 4 models of asparagus dishes. The model comes in several colors. All the decorations are of high quality.

The Nimy earthenware factory was founded in 1789 and received the title "Fabrique impériale royale" (Royal Imperial Factory) that same year.

The earthenware factory was bought in 1849 by JP Mouzin, who then bought the Onnaing earthenware factory in 1894. The name became "Société anonyme de la Faïencerie d'Onnaing" (Onnaing Earthenware Factory Public Limited Company). Although the molds from the Nimy earthenware factory were transported to Onnaing, production remained on site. The same models, with some color differences, were produced in both factories.
