The Romanesque and Gothic church of Saint-Cyr-et-Sainte-Julitte was completed at the beginning of the 13th century, then partly rebuilt (the nave in the 16th century, the facade in the 17th century). It houses relics of Saint Aile, Saint Batilde, Saint Blondin, Saint Fare, Saint Fiacre, Saint Patient, and Saint Vincent.

Saint-Cyr-sur-Morin was frequently called "Montmartre-sur-Morin" thanks to its famous host Pierre Mac Orlan, writer and lyricist, who attracted artistic and literary celebrities there and gave the village a Parisian bohemian atmosphere.
