Set of 6 plates and a platter in French earthenware from Fives-Lille, dating from around 1890. Designed to serve both artichokes and asparagus, these pieces feature images of both plants. The green enamel is applied on a white background, with a deep purple on the tips of the asparagus. The globe-shaped head of the artichoke plant forms a space for the accompanying sauce. The plate, an elegant model, also features the same king's head as the platter, adding a touch of sophistication to the set. The plate is numbered 1028.
