At a very young age, Yann Letestu sailed across the Atlantic with his family, from Marseille to Venezuela. A year-long journey that left him with a taste for travel and painting... His canvases bear the azure imprint of his travel memories. Depicted in a mixture of materials where one can guess watercolors, inks, oils, on old papers but especially on nautical charts that recall the idea of departure to elsewhere and invite to travel.
